Course Reflection:
By taking this course, I was exposed to the different rules of sentence formation and word pronunciation. This course provided an introduction to morphology and phonology Spanish linguistics. We learned through structured lectures, class discussions, presentations, and practical assignments. This course showed me a side of the Spanish language that I had no clue about. I was aware of how Spanish language is formulated but I was not aware of the why. We also learned about the influence of different languages and dialects. We discovered that there is not a “correct form” of Spanish and that each form has importance in relevance with its country’s culture.
