Reflection:
The courses that I took in order to complete MLO2 were Span 345, Span 313, and Ling 392. In Span 313: Introduction to Linguistics, we were introduced into various topics such as morphology, phonology, semantics, and syntantics; among others. These topics were crucial to understand the way the structure of the Spanish Language is formulated. In Ling 392: Introduction to Language Acquisition, we were introduced to the IPA Phonetic Transcription and various different theories that explain the ways language is acquired by human beings. This is crucial to understand because it can help us comprehend how human beings use language in professional and social contexts. In the course of Span 345, we were introduced to the various ways Bilingualism is perceived in modern society. Therefore, all three courses introduced me to the various rules and topics that the Spanish Language is composed of.
